Ruby Dhillon is the co-founding partner of Newport Southwest, LLC with development responsibilities in the State of Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada. Newport Southwest was formed in 2015 with the goal of developing high quality in-fill development in major metropolitan cities in the Southwestern region of the United States.  Currently, Newport Southwest has two projects under development in Phoenix, Arizona with the first project to be under construction in 2016.  Newport Southwest is also a leader in developing sustainable communities and is developing the first multi-family project to “Passive House” standards in the State of Arizona.  Prior to joining Newport Partners, Ms. Dhillon worked for Alliant Capital and the State of Arizona’s Housing Department.  Ms. Dhillon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctorate degree from American College of Law.

Becky Landon is the President of Newport Midwest, LLC, as well as the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Landon Group. Ms. Landon has been providing expert consulting services for over 15 years. She works closely with for-profit and non-profit developers to coordinate the complex financing behind successful affordable housing and commercial economic development projects. Ms. Landon’s previous experience includes working as a financial analyst for Springsted Incorporated, a public finance advisory firm, and as a housing development officer for the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. She also has experience in the use of New Market tax credits in commercial revitalization projects. Ms. Landon has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Southwest State University and an MBA from the University of Saint Thomas. She is certified as a Housing Development Finance Professional by the National Development Council. In 2013, Ms. Landon was named as one of the top 50 women in business by the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Business Journal. This prestigious award honors her hard work and dedication to maximizing funding for her clients and to building the affordable communities of tomorrow.
